Trail description
Col d'Anzana is one of the most famous and well-known freeride MTB tracks in Valtellina: 10 km and 1800m of altitude difference downhill.
This track starts from the Bernina Pass, with a quiet ride around the White Lake. Shortly after, a very technical single trail begins on the left, which leads directly to the Cavaglia station, where the famous Bernina red train passes, a UNESCO heritage site.
To reach Poschiavo, you then take a nice single trail created exclusively for bikes. You then reach Brusio via cycle paths and secondary roads, where you can reach Pescia Bassa with a shuttle.
You have to pedal uphill for a small stretch and once you reach the Anzana pass, where the fun begins.
What follows is an endless single trail, sometimes technical, with tight hairpin bends and passages between stones, which make it the ideal track for those who want to put themselves to the test.
Arrived at Tirano, we realize that all the brake pads have worn out.
