Trail description

One of the most beautiful and panoramic tracks in the area. With the help of the cable car first and then the jeeps, it becomes accessible to anyone with a little ability with the descent.

The ascent to Bormio 2000, with the cable car, allows you to reach altitude effortlessly. The climb to the Rocca is demanding with steep slopes, but not too long and the first single trail is all to be enjoyed, with a spectacular panorama towards Monte Tresero. The route that follows to Santa Caterina is now very simple and without major difficulties.

To reach the Forni refuge, first and then the Pizzini refuge then, you can rely on the jeeps, reducing the effort to a minimum.

The descent is pure and authentic fun, on a very well-maintained single track, very flow, with a spectacular view towards the Forni glacier.

Once you get to the Ables farmhouse, there are many variations and you can immediately head towards Santa Caterina. Otherwise the altitude is maintained and via single track first and dirt road after, you can reach S. Gottardo after 20 km of descent on dirt road. Bormio is now upon us and so much fun is behind us.
