Trail description

The departure of the route is from Santa Caterina Valfurva and you head towards the Forni refuge with the help of a shuttle. At that point you start pedaling and the path that separates us from the Pizzini Hut is initially challenging, but the view of the glaciers behind you is splendid.

From the Pizzini Hut , pushing the bike at times, in a short stretch you arrive at the Zebrù pass at an altitude of 3000m! All the effort made to reach the top is repaid by the splendid panorama that can be enjoyed.

The first section of the descent is very technical and demanding, with an extreme section to be covered holding on to fixed ropes and a river wade (pay attention to the amount of water).

The second section of the descent is on a fluid single trail that leads to the "Baita del Pastore". The route continues on a dirt road that runs through the whole of Val Zebrù, in unspoiled nature full of fauna and flora, immersed in the Stelvio National Park.

To reach Bormio you can ride some simple but very fascinating single trails.
