Trail description

The route starts from the Stelvio Pass: it is therefore advisable to take a bike shuttle that comfortably takes bikers with their bikes up to the pass.

The route is technical and quite exposed at times, so you need to have good preparation and riding technique.

The first part involves a long traverse that leads to the Bocchette di Forcola, where there are many remains of the great war, such as forts and trenches.

< p>After a few bends, take a very stony path on the left that leads to the Bocchette di Pedenolo. At that point the fun and simple descent begins on a military road with constant slopes and lots of bends. Before arriving in the Cancano area, you have to face a series of hairpin bends with a breathtaking panorama.

From the Solena car park, it is very easy to get to the Cancano lakes and the Fraele Towers.

Then following a stretch of the Decauville (flat road at high altitude that leads from Cancano to Arnoga) and following an easy descent, you reach the town of San Carlo.
