Trail description
Route immersed in the nature and tranquility of the Stelvio National Park.
The departure is from Santa Caterina, where you reach the refreshment of the ovens. At that point, a dirt path starts, which climbs, especially at the beginning, with steep slopes.
When you reach the Pizzini refuge, it is mandatory to take a break and enjoy the splendid panorama that you are facing: the Forni glacier and the peaks of Gran Zebrù and Cevedale.
The return is great fun, on very simple and well-maintained singletrack and on dirt. You reach the Ables farmhouse and then descend steeply towards Santa Caterina.
